 This site is established and initiated by a cancer patient to provide cancer patients worldwide with every possible support.  This can be achieved by exchanging knowledge which cancer patients accumulate from their experiences in dealing with the disease.  From my experience with metastatic prostate cancer, I know that most patients are left alone under the mercy and discretion of their medical care takers.  Desperate as they might be in most of cases, cancer patients have no choice but to follow helplessly any recommendations given by their doctors.  But what if those recommendations were  wrong, a it happened and is happening again and again?  Who bears the consequences in such cases?  Of course, not doctors!  It is left that cancer patients always pay the toll of such recommendations.  I can list so many instances from my experience with the disease over three years now, where doctors' recommendations made me a lot of harm and caused me a lot of unnecessary pain and suffering. 

Their might be no cures for most of types of cancer, but certainly there are many things, ways, approaches which cancer patients can use or follow to help them fighting the disease and minimizing its effects.  These things, ways and approaches can only be made known to patients worldwide if they have the chance to communicate with each others and reveal their stories and tell what things they consider as good and what things are bad.  This is exactly what this site is all about, making communication between cancer patients possible.  Patients can participate either by posting their experiences and opinions on the forum or writing articles and send it to us.

 The success of this site of achieving its goals totally depends on the contributions made by those involved.  So, we encourage every patient who has something to say which can be useful to others to please take the time to say it by posting on the forum or by writing an article.
